to B-Haven Quarter Horse Stud. We are situated 10km south of Charters
Towers on 1000 acres on which we run our horses. For the last 20
years we have been breeding performance Quarter Horses that are
used by both our clients and us. From Campdrafting, Team Penning,
Pleasure, Halter and the world of Rodeo our horses have proven themselves
to be an asset in any stable. Our bloodlines are some of the best,
with all the credentials and proven ability in competition. Our
resident Stallions and Mares with limited showing have all proven
themselves. We don’t always register them or their points
with the AQHA, but we do keep their ribbons. Due to the location
and long distances we have to travel and work commitments make it
hard to get to these competitions. Our children Troy & Shelby
started competition at the age of 4 & 5 Drafting and Horse sporting
and as they got older ventured into the Rodeo Arena. Dans Inky has
been phenomenal in the arena, winning 8 awards plus ROM’s,
Drafting and Barrel Racing, running times consistent with the open
ladies. She has produced 4 foals, one a black gelding who is now
winning novice and U 18 barrels. Dans Marly was also a winner in
the drafting & Team Penning she has produced two lovely fillies
one selling at Rocky in 05. AVALON HOLY DAN was a sprint champion
in his own right and produced some wonderful progeny like Inky,
and the list goes on so take a look and browse.
